It is nothing more than an abstract nod to the old school rappers such as Heavy D and Schooly D (if you go way back like me) but otherwise has no meaning.

I'm not sure what you mean about my score, I don't play for score but for the all-out explosion-fests and fun. I could probably increase my K-D ratio by being more cautious but when I see a mech I want to kill then I usually charge them. If it takes 3 of my deaths to cause 1 of theirs, then that's a win for me. :)
I used to be cool with PPHBoss. He wouldn't blast me when it was him and me in a game, but then once Madscientist and gang were on with him. Homeboy started blasting me like he didn't know who I was. haha! Ironically, Madscientist is cool with me now. I turned on Crutch76 when I saw that he hung with Madscientist too, then Crutch's girl started making out with me, so now we're cool too. HAHA! iMech politics I guess.

Sirswash, I read your comment about having no allegiances and catching certain mechs alone... Kinda funny. I've fought you, watched you fight others and know that you team with other high profile players such as Grudge. From my perspective it doesn't seem to matter if your being teamed up on, teaming with others or fighting solo, you get your tail whipped. Early on I couldn't understand why you didn't have a good rating because I thought you had skills. My mistake, i understand now. Your more of a chihuahua than a pit bull. An ankle biter; annoying but not a real threat. I make no claims of being the greatest mech pilot of all time but I'm not even worried when your in the game. I believe Grudge only took you in because he remembered you the same as I did. I'm sure he's disappointed in his pick. It's fitting that your using the fiddler now too, as with most of the unskilled pilots in the game the fiddler is perfect. So to sum this up... Your the only one being "wrecked like a stolen car"!

DeleteI have all but 3 mechs, and use different mechs all the time, keeps the game fun. I was more talking about the people that will only play if they have a group or 2-3 ppl backing them up. If they don't they get crushed, lose rank and quit. I don't care about rank. If I did I would use the same mech over and over, not wear special skins, and make friends with 90% of the top 25 players, I am one of the few who don't, seems like most of the game has been castrated.

ReplyDeleteBtw, off topic from the trash talk. What issues are you guys having with the game? I know there are some quirks in-game that everyone experiences, like lag because of connection, and getting stuck on a weapon/mainly on the mine if you punch your ability too soon after you drop it. But in my setup, I can no longer edit my weapons for fiddler, it's stuck on gas, machine gun and laser I think. Also, half the time, it seems like upgrades don't work. Ever if I have all ten slots to the same ability, there's negligible improvement. Then sometime I'll just throw something random together and then able to blast fools in a two shot.
ReplyDeleteI think the biggest one is when you lose the ability to do damage, been experiencing it a lot recently, I get flame koed in seconds by some noobs and when I do it I have to hold it back and forth, now it may just be connection causing them to really be further than they are, but sometimes you really can't do a lot of damage, i'm having to use 6 flak shots just to kill one newb when the shield is off, or other ridiculous things like this.

DeleteGetting stuck on the pseudo-mine definitely sucks and happens periodically. Also, on Ouya the upgrades randomly stop working. For instance if I don't check them all in a week's time, I will probably lose 1 - 3 of them. When it happens I see the pretty picture of the gatling/shield or fire/hull on that slot, but when I press the button it say "No Upgrade". What the purple f* is that about?
DeleteMine is the menu screen glitching up on iOS, it will sometimes have you press ok where it says about upgrades for sale or something like that, and send me back to where it loads. Then I have to tap Play within that second before it glitches up again.

I do have another question... What's the deal with Craig Snook? You "Grudgenaut" seem to value and protect your anonymity. Yet on Facebook Craig Snook posts a snapshot of his ipad; that is Grudgenauts imech profile; that only the owner could have. That's intriguing and confusing. DeleteI used to see him write "ouch" every time he blasted me and then when I could finally effectively return fire he'd say "nice shot". I saw far more "ouch"'s than anything else :) I always thought it took dedication to remember to comment on each kill . He makes the game more colorful IMO.
You are very analytical, I do value my anonymity and i'm surprised at the amount of information you manage to glean from various sources... That in itself should give you a clue and that is all I will say on the matter.

ReplyDeleteAnd I saw him using two accounts today his higher ranking one was in a yellow box and had the tomahawk avatar, his other was in a purple box and had a spear. Maybe some variation of the name, but definitely the same pilot based on his play style. Fiddy, flak, corrosive gas and the blue long range gun.
His lower ranking one was easier to beat, naturally. But he's good in any case. He's like if you took Alpha and removed the incessant crying.
What exactly makes him so good? I haven't played Imech with GG round in a while, if you read above Craig Snook = Grudgegod, quite surprised to see he has an account here now too.

Grudge I will tell you exactly what makes him good. He will burn your a$& up with fire while shooting the flack cannon at the same time with no pause to change weapons. His flack cannon will take half your should and all your hull with one shot. No one else in the game can do that.

ReplyDeleteFound a new trick today. On the same concept as blinking into the wall I guess, but I was able to pull opponents into the parking structure in neo city, with fiddler's claw. They then get trapped inside for you to blast and mock. Haha. I'll try to get a screen shot.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I've done that before. It works on a lot of structures (parking, metal grid, anything the claw will go through) but I don't try to. Like you found it was accidental.
DeleteI've also blinked into those same structures and been trapped unable to blink again on cool-down and get shot up without being able to move. Sucks but I lulz anyway because it's unusual.

ReplyDeleteMy advice is don't worry about the leaderboards. When score-farmers started rocking 7k's and puppy-guarding their good accounts the leader board stopped meaning anything IMO.

Figured I would share some info: according to support the next update will include a way to migrate accounts to other devices. That has been assured, the rest is result of putting clues together. It appears that the next update will most likely be released for android. We have been promised 1-2 new mechs on the update, and I can almost guarantee that the special on one of the mechs will be a cloaking device (invisibility).

I will only team with ppl who have the same friends as me, get irritated when my friends have different friends. Starting my own clan is still an option at this point, that's what I am doing, seeing where this will go. The people that are gonna stay enemies for me are the original noob team up group. Pphboss, mad scientist, Betsy (who is terrible) and their little butt buddy group. Blasty for the record: grudge and I started teaming when we ran into that little noob group, and we earned mutual respect before grudge was #1 rank. Honestly I'm looking for a team because I'm tired of a bunch of noobs acting tough when they kill me in a 4 vs 1 match. Every game I go into there is a group of 2-4 clowns that help each other, and they still lose to me a lot. It is killing the game until clans r released, since I'm sure a lot of noobs get hammered by teams and stop playing, that's why I'm killing the first team up group.

ReplyDeleteI find it interesting that the "Grudgenaut" account has basically made no appearances (until today) since Subject***51 and Mech***37 have come on the scene. I'm sure after this little tidbit of info is posted that will change.
If I were a betting man I'd say Grudge/Craig/Mech37/Subject51 or what ever he's calling himself today is using a modified playstation controller (or something similar) on his Ouya game system (Ouya allows this). I've witnessed him (Mech37/Subject51) activate fiddlers claw, release gas, fire flak canon and use fire with no delay. During multiple fights he also fired his flak canon (and loaded it) while using fire with no interruption at all. These modified controllers will allow a player to pre-designate a series of moves into a single button. I could be wrong. Just a thought...
I don't know about recording macros on the Ouya controller, but I am going to benchmark some touchpoints between Ouya and Android.
DeleteWhat I do see is that even though I have 5x fire shield damage & 5x fire hull, that Subjectwhatever guy still cooks me first without even sparking sometimes. The same angle I use to blast other mechs and this guy is impervious when he wants to be.

I think it's absolutely comical that there's probably only about 8 regular bloggers in this forum and of those 8 two act like they're the iMech elite. I don't see any other players trying to contact each other to plan and collaborate. Let's not forget Grudge threatening others and trying to intimidate Alpha into siding with him. Sirswash discreetly backing him up on that as well (Both know he's young). Real "hero material. There's absolutely nothing I envy about you guys. Does Swash wear a leash Grudge or do you let him run free?
Let's sum up this new "Master Team" that's come together due to their common adversity and unfair discrimination, plagued by the incessant planning and conniving of other players consistently pursuing their evil dreams to devalue and castrate the game:
-Create 2 and 3 accounts to fight so as to preserve his rating and off set his kill/death ratio
-Create accounts to kill over and over to increase rating and kill/death ratio
-Coerce/threaten/intimidate teammates to turn on friends/allies/teammates due to Pen*s envy
-Collaborate privately to better execute their master plan to take over the world...I mean game
-Team up early-on with many players, scheme against many of those players and then accuse others of the very same thing to justify their private little gangbang.
-Being douchebags
Ever notice that Grudge has the only rating in the game that consistently goes up. Every other player has to fight nonstop; taking one step forward and two back. Not Grudge.
I think it's obvious that these guys have a complex. They consistently blog and act out all the things they claim others are doing.
